Square One

Sorry it has been a few days since my last post. It has been a series of unfortunate events the past few days. Along with getting my period (which is an unfortunate event that occurs every month and therefore was not a real big deal) I had to get a tire fixed because there was a screw in it and I found out I no longer have a job at Oriental Trading Company due to budget cuts. So, until further notice, I am stuck at Super Saver because there is not much out there that I am qualified for. I've already spent the past couple hours looking online and there is not much for me to choose from. I should have just gotten a freakin' accounting degree. Now I'm too broke to go back to school.
Anyway, I have made it to the gym. Body Pump last Friday morning and plan on going tomorrow. My goal is to make it 3 times this week. I can feel my strength increasing already and that is motivating to keep going and improve every time. My knee is still bothering me, so I've only been walking. I did 30 min before BP on Friday, 30 min on the elliptical and 15 on the treadmill yesterday, and an hour walking hill intervals tonight. Tomorrow will be my next weigh in. I will let you know if I've lost, gained, or remained the same. I was doing real well with food until Friday...except after my lovely phone call I really couldn't eat lunch. Don and I went to Lazlo's for dinner after I got off work and the Pub Club tasted awesome...and chips and salsa. I think overall my eating habits have improved and hopefully as I adjust to the recent change (and hopefully find a new job I look forward to again) things will improve even more.
