Today has been difficult. I made it to the gym, but walking hills for an hour is boring, even with my favorite morning television. It was my day off, and days off are the hardest for me. I don't think I've eaten horribly but I feel like I've been grazing all day and nothing satisfies. Must be close to that time of the month. Tomorrow I work from 8-7, so other than my lunch break, the snacking will be kept to a minimum...and a workout is unlikely. But I will go Friday morning to Body Pump and get in some cardio again.
I went to the movie "Penelope" today with my sister. It didn't blow me away or anything but it did have a really positive message in the end that I wasn't really expecting. It was cute and has made me a James McAvoy. I haven't seen atonement, but I bet I would enjoy him in it!
My work schedule next week is unpleasant and will probably keep me from being able to do much of anything fun next weekend. I work until 7:00 pm both Friday and Saturday.

That's exactly what I was saying on my blog: cardio is boring me right now. I thought picking a good tv show might do the trick. Maybe you should make a new playlist to keep you going.
My advice for not eating too much on your day off: only eat three meals. And since you have time off you can make something special (and healthy). And knowing that you're going to have a healthy/yummy dinner might keep you from eating junk all day long. (Maybe Not!)
I also want to say that doing anything for an hour seems like a long time. So I really like to break it up into 20 minute segments. Stair, Eliptical, Treadmill, Bike, etc... Even Treadmill, Stairs, Treadmill would break up the routine.
Except it was the stupid stairs that made my knee hurt. So for right now it's treadmill (walking) or elliptical. Blah!
Oh!
I'm reading atonement currently. I prefer to watch Discovery Health on TV at the gym. Sometimes it can be real boring, but I like the shows where someone is sick and everyone is trying to figure out what they have and nobody has a clue. I especially like it when I figure something out about it before the Doctors. Bet you didn't know how much of a nerd I was!
That sounds like something you would enjoy. Me on the other hand, would shoot myself if I was forced to watch that at the gym. Come to think of it... no wonder you don't like to workout!
