New Scale

I decided I want a new scale because mine depresses me. I did not weigh in on Monday morning because I woke up at Don's and had cereal before I went home. I never weigh myself after I've eaten, so I thought I would weigh in Tuesday. Half a pound up. So I weighed myself 2 more times within the same hour yesterday and it went up every time. I decided I want a new scale. I'm sure it's really just me that's the problem, but I don't care. I'd like one that also measures body fat & muscle mass. Although, I don't know how reliable those are. If anyone has a suggestion, let me know.
I did do an hour of cardio, starting with a 3-mile jog, then I walked, and once I had recovered from the jog I did running intervals for the last 13 minutes or so of running 2 minutes, walking one (running at a higher pace than the 3-mile jog). Today I went to Body Pump and only did 10 minutes on the elliptical before class. If anyone is ever free to come on a Wednesday or Friday morning, the BP instructor, Lesley, is awesome. I always feel tough and more motivated with her than others.... Plus, she is in awesome shape and always pushes herself in class as well. I don't know how it is elsewhere, but sometimes the people in the class seem to push themselves more than the instructors. Anyway, I think it would be awesome if anyone could come with me sometime. Now I am off to a shoe store that claims to have size 12 womens shoes. We'll see. I've already spent too much today at Target.... I was hungry and but a ton of frozen meals because they all sounded good. I tried one of the new flatbread sandwiches from Lean Cuisine, Pesto Chicken. Not bad. I also bought the ingredients for Strawberry Cheesecake bars for Easter. Should be pretty low fat because I substituted low fat & fat free cream cheese and fat free cool whip. I will let everyone know if they are good.

I hear ya on my scale. Remember the day I had to hold a five pound weight just to prove to myself that it would move!
I would love to come up and do BP with you on a Friday. I don't work this Friday, but I will have just done it Thursday evening. But the next time I have a Friday off of work, I will plan ahead! Or maybe I will take a vacation day and come up.
Let me know how the desserts are. I tried to make no-bake cookies with splenda the other night -- they were horrible and I had to throw them away!

I don't know how accurate the bodyfat parts of the scale are - apparently they can be affected by how hydrated you are, but I think it's more about how the numbers change than their actual values. It seems like the more info available, the better. I don't know - my scale has that feature, but I usually don't bother to use it. Although I don't bother to weigh myself very often either. I can see where it would be useful though, and they're not that much more expensive than a regular digital scale.

PS Karrie's Splenda cookies were disgusting - I'm a witness.
