Now that we have a house I feel like we are going to be more poor than ever. At least for the next few months, after Don's truck is paid off things will be easier. I've decided, however, that this will be a good thing for working out. I still won't be paying for the gym (since I basically paid for two memberships last December) and I want to continue using the gym to get in better shape. Last week I made it to two Combats... One on Wednesday and one on Friday. I thought I was going to die after both. I guess that's what I get for sitting on my butt all day. Yesterday I planned on going to the launch of both Combat and Pump, but Don and I slept in and went for a 4 mile walk later in the day at Lake Zorinsky since it was so nice out. I did finally go to Pump today and did the new songs. The music is much better than past launches. I think on Tuesday I will add weight to both squats and chest. Although, this won't be a new weight for squats, just back to what I was before the week long break I took last month. Chest, however, will be a whole new experience.... Shoulders were the hardest track and then having to do the side plank after was awful. Hopefully my shoulders will become even stronger. Tomorrow I plan on going to Combat again (I think I am addicted) and this will be the first time I've heard the new songs.
I am considering training for a 10k again. It will be much harder this time since I haven't been running like I was the first time I did it, but I think this would be a good goal. The Corporate Cup Run is in September and the Omaha marathon, half, and 10k is the following weekend. I would like to try one of them. It might be hard training and moving/settling into a new house at the same time.... so we'll see.

I hear ya! I have never felt more poor-er than now that I purchased a house. It will help that you have a "two-income-home" but probably not much. Remember -- it's an investment. Good Luck.
And I am excited about your new goals too. It is always more fun to workout when you are working towards something. I wish I was more advanced so I could train along with you... but alas I am not. But what a great way to start your 28th year!
