Sweatin'

It has been a busy weekend. Thank goodness it was a long one! Besides the fact I think some spider bit the back of my neck in four places and the itching is driving me crazy, it has been a pretty good weekend. Saturday I did spend 2.5 hours grocery shopping trying to find specific groceries for a dip I made for the game that night and for the dinner we were supposed to have last night but are now having tonight. I did get up that morning and I ran outside for almost 50 minutes. Okay, I will be truthful, I did not run the entire time. There were some major hills that I just couldn't do, but it felt good to be outside running. Yesterday was supposed to be my 5 mile run but I decided I missed Pump so much that I sacrificed the long run and went to class. I did run 2 miles before class as my cardio. I did go light on weights, seen as it has been a few weeks since I've been to class, and I still am really sore today! Which doesn't help trying to paint our walls in our house..... We thought we could live with the salmony color in the entry way, but we couldn't take it any longer and bought paint to cover that and then we also bought paint to go into the living room and dining room. I'm already thinking of kitchen colors.... The people before us put about a thousand holes in the wall, so the only way to make the walls nice again is to patch the walls and repaint. We decided we might as well pick out colors we like! So all we've done yesterday and today was paint. My mom and Avery stopped by and gave us a Dairy Queen break. I decided not to feel any guilt towards the ice cream treat, I've worked hard all weekend! Now I have to make it through the rest of the week!
