Back Doctor

Yesterday morning my original plan was to go to the gym early and get stuff done before my appointment with the wedding photographer. Instead on Friday I had to make a last minute appointment with a chiropractor Saturday morning. The appointment was at 9, not really allowing me to do much in the morning (and my back hurt too much) and then the appointment lasted until 10:30... after I was x-rayed, pulled, cracked, massaged, etc, I realized I also did not have much time to get to the gym before 1:00, my photo appointment. So I went to lunch with my sister, mom and niece. I only had a bagel and cup of chicken noodle soup and two bites of a dry, tart apple. I still didn't feel the best, as far as my back was concerned to do much else yesterday. The photo appointment lasted until 2:30, and once I got home and got rid of all the people that were here (Don's brother and his 3 daughters helping with the dishwasher) all I could do was lay down. Finally, Don and I went to Village Pointe for the art fair and had dinner at Johnny's Italian Steakhouse. I ordered some creamy, ultra bad for you pasta that I couldn't come close to finishing. Plus, the jeans I put on to go out that night felt tight due to the extra food I've indulged in because of my hurt back and bad mood with not being able to work out at all. Today will be better.... After I finish my cup of coffee and brush my teeth, I'm headed to the gym for at least an hour of cardio. I have another chiropractic appointment for Tuesday after work... more cracking and whatnot. I hope this next week goes better than the past one. Otherwise the 10k will be out of the question. We'll see!
