Long Day

I won't get into the longness of the day, but here is a copy of what I wanted to post earlier... Before my internet decided to quit on me.... At least I copied and pasted what I wrote into a word document before I lost the connection completely and everything I had typed. I cannot promise greatness in this entry, but at least I tried!

It was originally titled "No Stimulus" - here it is:

I think because I used an online program to file my taxes that I will be forced to receive my refund check by mail... and because the last two numbers of my social are 75, I won't receive it until late June. This really upsets me because I was really counting on that money. Now my credit card will continue to rack up interest because I can't make a big payment on it until July. After putting almost $40 in my gas tank, the thought of money really just makes my stomach turn. At least my next paycheck will be better that usual due to Mother's Day.

Anyway, I suppose this is supposed to be a workout blog, so I will update you on my workouts. Yesterday I did make it to the gym for Body Pump along with an hour of cardio (30 min on elliptical and 30 on the treadmill). I also upped my biceps weight by adding smalls. I've been trying to do the same with my triceps but I can't seem to make it all the way through the song yet. I've also begun to regularly use a large, medium, and small for my back track. I try to take advantage of breaks and add smalls on to help increase weights. I don't think I'll be increasing the weight for chest anytime soon... I've been using a large for a couple months now and I still find it difficult. My schedule hasn't allowed me to make it to combat and I hope that I will make it soon. It's a nice way to mix up my cardio.

So what are you up to on Biceps now? I have been attempting the medium and small for about a month now... and I don't ever imagine it getting easier. I just hope to make it through the whole song sometime. That's a good idea to add on weight at the break. Your instructor is the only one who I have ever heard suggest that. And nobody really does it in Lincoln, but I could start a trend!

PS I used an online program to do my taxes and had them direct deposited, and I already got miine (ending in 74). Is there someone you can call to ask about this?

I looked it up for you... here is the IRS's contact info: Telephone Assistance for Individuals:
1-800-829-1040
Hours of Operation: Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. your local time.

Hope this helps! They might direct you to a different office for Stimulus info, but at least you could talk to someone. Otherwise, there is a local office in each city you could call.

Man, Karrie never quits being a reference librarian.... I think it's about whether or not you gave the IRS your bank account and routing number - if you didn't then you will get it in the mail.

I'm apparently a slacker on the weights, I don't add weight nearly as often as you or Karrie do, even though some of the tracks are pretty easy. Maybe I should work on that.

None of tracks are easy for me... but adding a small will really boost the burn. So I would suggest adding one to your amrs jennifer -- you always claim your guns are bigger than mine, but I do more weight than you in Triceps and Biceps. You don't want to fall behind do you?

And yes, once a reference librarian, always a reference librarian!
