I've concluded that my allergies are to blame, but it has been a bad week for working out. I have been so tired lately and had no energy (I also blame these sudden bursts of itchy skin on allergies). I attempted jogging Monday night after Don informed me he signed me up to run a 10k next month. I could hardly do 2 miles on the treadmill without feeling like dying. This was very frustrating. I decided I had worked out too much lately (5 days in a row, with running, Pump, and Combat), so I decided to take my normal Tuesday Pump off and double up Wednesday night instead. Bad mistake. The break felt good, but last night I couldn't make it all the way through Combat, let alone stay for Pump. I felt like a loser. I felt totally wiped and didn't even have the ability to muster up some anger to get me through the punches and kicks. I'd say I left after 45 minutes of class, which is most of the cardio. After feeling sorry for myself, I picked up Chinese food and went to my friend Lynn's house to watch Project Runway and proceeded to eat all the chicken fried rice the House of Hunan gave me. Today, my legs feel achey.... I should have gone to Pump tonight but I decided my body must be rejecting workouts this week and after the move I can rev them back up again and train for this damn race. Between packing, taking boxes out of storage so they are ready for the move, and being addicted to the Olympics and staying up too late every night, I have been totally exhausted. Plus, I got to spend my entire lunch hour at the DMV getting my car in my name and out of my parent's... I'm a big girl now. I have my own insurance, car, everything! Eeek. I'd really rather stay a kid some days, I don't get along with the word "responsibility" very well, never have.
I might go for a walk later, but there is no way I'm missing those swimming races tonight. Sure makes me wish I had my own pool to swim laps in.

I'm sure that you just need a little time off from the gym. All the stress of moving and switching over your life is probably taking a toll on your whole body.
I hear ya on the olympics. I have been up until 2:00 some nights this week watching. And doing puzzles... Jennifer is addicted to doing puzzles now and we can't stop. It's good to do while you're watching people win medals.
Good luck on the move, and hopefully next week you can get back to working out. Hey, will you get insurance soon so you can take care of those allergies?
