Right now I am waiting for Gold's Gym to call me and tell me they are going to help me out. It's a very confusing story, but at the moment I am paying two gym memberships, one here in Omaha, and the other in Kansas City. I signed the contract in KC in December, and then made the decision to move back to Omaha a month later.... Well, KC did not communicate with Omaha about the ending of my "contract" in Omaha, so Omaha keeps taking out money every month. I would prefer to be refunded the money from KC, as it was charged on my credit card to pay up through May '09...so at the moment it is becoming more expensive every minute as interest is added since I have not had the income to pay it off in one shot. KC won't refund the money, and Roy at Gold's Gym has not been very helpful. I was told by Don (who has no fear of confronting anyone) that Roy would be calling me today with an answer, or we are both going elsewhere for a gym membership. Which would make me sad, because I do like Gold's but I need a gym that cares about me and my money (and the fact that between Don and I we have referred at least 4 different members).
Okay, enough about that.... Here's my update since Saturday:
I'm all moved back now. I decided to count the stairs I ran up and down during moving my exercise of the day!
Sunday I did not make it to the gym. Don and I went to Phantom of the Opera at 2:00, which pretty much sucked the day up, along with rearranging the basement to make it a nice place to relax.
Monday was a good day! I went to the gym @ 8:00.... I ran for 5 miles straight with no walking breaks. Started at 5.6 mph and slowly increased speed. I only ran at 6.0 mph for a few minutes at the end alternating it with 5.7 when I would become more fatigued.
Today I went to the gym early again and did a little cross training. I did 20 minutes on the stair climber and almost 20 min on the eliptical...but my stomach started to cramp up. I think that it was a result of eating oatmeal for breakfast that is high in fiber. After the cramps subsided, I walked hills on the treadmill for another 15 min. I need to get back to doing more weights and will do so tomorrow. I plan on attending BodyPump at 6:30....I even may go to the gym for cardio in the morning and then back later for the class. It is my day off after all and I need to keep on the upward track I've been on at the gym.... No more falling off the wagon!

I would be sad if you weren't a gold's gym member too. Then you couldn't come use the gym in Lincoln, and we couldn't work out together in omaha. But I guess if they are being mean -- I understand.
Do you know how many people I talk into joing the gym??!? At least a handful -- they should put me on salary. Hey maybe that could be my part time job.
