I watched the Super Bowl last night and for the first time I really wanted one of the teams to win, and they lost. I give up trying to cheer for any football team. Baseball season is coming up so I will focus my attention on that!
Okay, I have not hit the gym since Thursday. I cleaned all day Friday, drove to KC & packed on Saturday, and yesterday I helped drag a couch and other misc. items down three flights of stairs and then scurry out of town as thunder clapped, lightening struck, and little snow pellets fell from the sky. I did have a slight accident with the couch on the stairs but it appears to not have left any damage. I am, however, slightly sore from the whole move (and, unfortunately, there is still a little more left in KC).
I am going to hit the gym tonight with Don. I am not a big fan of working out with all the other fools that workout after work (I used to be one of them). It's always so crowded and hot but I cannot make any more excuses. An hour of cardio at least, maybe weights tomorrow since I am already sore.
I start working next week. Hopefully working can help me get back on track with food.

I agree! The worst time of day to visit the gym is 5-7. It is way to humid. (Why can't someone figure out that it's okay to turn down the heat in the gym, or open a door?) And there are never any machines. I am choosy about the treadmill I use, or the stair climber I like to be on. And we only have 3 bikes -- all really close to one another, so if someone is using the middle one - the other two are out!
I too am really sore. I took two weeks off of Bodypump and went back on Saturday. Now I am super-sore. The soreness where I hate when people make me get up from the desk and help them! And honestly, it feels better when I am running than when I am just walking. Why do you think that is?
I knew you would be moruning the Patriot's loss, but did you notice that Hardington was featured for part of the news??? Something about being the Super Bowl City this year - I didn't watch the news, just the preview commercial. I wouldn't have known anything about the town if your brother hadn't gotten married and you met a Patriot there.
Jennifer- did you spell moruning like that, because this is jen's workout blog and you were subliminaly trying to get us to do more-running?????
perhaps I did. Wow, I've never had a comment based on my comment before. You guys should try to comment on my comments more often.
Jennifer, maybe you should start your own "I don't work out" blog that we could comment on. Then we wouldn't have to rely on commenting on your comments. Too bad we don't know a way to start a 3-person blog that we could all write on rather than all the back and forth!
You can set up a blog and have multiple authors! We could do that -- but it might confuse us.
