I did make it to the gym yesterday. Did a full weight circuit and although some of my parts are sore, I think I need to pump it up a little bit so I can start seeing more results. I didn't run yesterday but I did walk for a little over an hour (I wanted to finish watching What Not to Wear!). The day would have been alright, but ended up eating out at a bar and grill and then stopping and having nachos later at Old Chicago, plus two beers. I need to start making better food choices....
So today has started out well. After feeling disappointed in myself yesterday for binging on the bad foods, I decided instead of getting caught up in the disappointment that I would just start over today. Grapenuts has a new Trail Mix Crunch cereal that's pretty yummy, Cranberry Vanilla. Can't feel too guilty about that! Then a stop at the gym with Don and an hour of cardio for me. Running sucked! I did one minute at 5.6 and then the next at 6.o for a little more than 20 minutes and walked for 18 min after that. Kicked my ass and it shouldn't have...then I moved on to the stair climber for 10 min and the eliptical for another 10 minutes. I can definitely feel the workout already. Just need to stay on track with the food!

Food choices are the hardest part. I mean, I can make myself go to the gym and burn 600 calories, but saying NO to the cake -- is just impossible. I told myself I would eat sensible on this trip. Like I know, that we'll be eating out all the time, so I would make smart choices when we did. But, that really hasn't panned out. I'll start fresh when I get home. Might I have to try the Grape Nuts too!
