I took the day off from the gym yesterday. When I woke up it was snowing and windy with windchills -20 degrees. I could not bring myself to go outside. After three hard days at the gym, I thought a day off would be okay.
I did, however, make it to the gym this morning, as cold as it was outside! No weights but I did 30 min. on the eliptical and 15 walking hills on the treadmill. I got distracted when What Not to Wear came on tv and I either had to stay and do another hour of cardio or run home to finish watching it.... needless to say, I am weak! I went home, but when I got there I laid on the floor and did crunches and a set of pushups, stretching after. I can feel the eliptical on my legs too...so I suppose it wasn't a bad workout even if I cut it 15 min. short.
Tomorrow I am cleaning with Don's sister-in-law. At least 4 hours of hard cleaning (the vacuum has to weigh at least 40 pounds). Then Don and I are going to the Home and Garden Expo in the evening, so the cleaning has to count for the workout. I hope this will suffice. A long, hard workout will happen Friday and then we are off to KC to finish packing and moving.

so you will officially be a resident of Omaha again after this weekend?? How is the job hunt going? Any good leads? We'll have to get together soon. You and Karrie are both way more fit than me, that's why I'll just comment on your blogs rather than start my own.
Geeze! You even work out while you watch TV. Lately I have been luckly if I can keep my head up and my eyes open while the TV is on.
I am sure that the cleaning will be a good workout. And some extra cash.
When can we work out together again?
