I've been to the gym twice now since Saturday. Boy, has it been hard to get at it since I took so much time off for illness and homework/puppy time. Saturday morning I managed 38 minutes on the treadmill. I only jogged about 9 of those minutes but it seemed like a good starting workout for me. Last night I went to Combat (for the first time in weeks) and wanted to leave 30 minutes in but I powered through to the end. My energy levels were just so low, I had the strength for the punches and kicks but no energy for the quickness of it all. So far I feel good this morning.... we'll see if and when I start to get sore! I might try Pump tonight if I'm not too sore since it's been over a week since I've been there.
It's getting down to crunch time and I need to up the workouts to get the kick ass arms I need for that halter dress. Last weekend was so much fun and I look forward to the upcoming months. I think the best part of this whole wedding thing (other than the marriage) is all the time I get to spend with family and friends along the way!

Isn't it crappy how quickly your body can re-gress. Months of working up to something and then you take a few weeks off and bam! At least you know you'll be back to it a lot sooner this time around. I'm scares to even take a day or two off, because I know it will be more painful when I go back. Hope you were able to get dressed this morning!!!
