Arthritis Sucks

I am trying not to feel guilty about skipping Pump this morning (we women are good at making us feel guilty for no good reason). The only thing I really feel guilty about is telling Don I wouldn't have time to stop at the bank to drop something off for him because I thought I was going to work out for two hours, be really sweaty and then have to rush home to get ready for work after dropping these documents off for him. But back to the title, my arthritis seems to always flair up when it is hot and humid, which is how it had been the past couple days. This is part of the reason I left the gym after cardio instead of sticking it out for class. Plus for some reason I have felt exhausted lately. I don't know how many times I fell asleep yesterday, but I did just about every time we got in the car and Don was driving. Then I did again later when we were sitting on the couch looking at the paper. I don't know if it was the heat and the long walk we took outside yesterday morning or if my body is telling me to slow down for a couple days. Because I skipped class, in order to make my 7 hours of workout time this week I need to get two hours in Saturday morning. I would like to do Combat then Pump that morning.... I am afraid though I will then be totally exhausted and I have a wedding to go to at 2:30 (I will be assisting in taking photos) and then dinner and dancing. The wedding is for one of Don's closest friends, so I'm sure we will be living it up all night long.

Tonight, after work, Don and I will be going out to dinner to celebrate our 2-year anniversary. We will be going to dinner at the Upstream, this site of our first date. I'm sure there will be wine and other food I shouldn't eat, but I am excited to be celebrating this milestone with him.

Congrats on the two years. My how the time has flown. Too bad about the arthritis... you'll just have to move somewhere cool and dry!
I hear ya on the exhaustion. don't worry so much about getting the 7 hours of gym time. Sometime sleep is more important.
